Fetra Community is a volunteer-led educational and formative community devoted to the questions of fitrah and the religious, educational, and psychological matters that surround them. It brings together more than 2,000 members across 14 countries today, women and men, of every age and background. It began in 2019 with small circles, became a structured academy in 2023, and took its present form as a formative community and a safe environment in 2024. What holds these forms together is that our work does not stop at teaching: it extends to formation, media, psychological support, and practical accompaniment within one system. About Us

Fitrah for us is not a general slogan but three defined domains: the fitrah of faith, the soul's original need for connection with its Creator; the fitrah of created nature, respect for the laws of creation, from the distinction of male and female to the limits and dignity of the body and the covenant of marriage; and the fitrah of character, the values inscribed in human conscience which revelation came to complete rather than to create. We chose these domains because they are precisely where the human fitrah comes under the greatest pressure today, and because any formative structure that ignores this foundation is raised on shifting ground. Our methodology is rooted in revelation: an epistemic vision drawn from revelation rather than from imported philosophies, joined to psychological and educational foundations attentive to the realities of the contemporary person. Content is governed by direct academic supervision from a scholarly board and specialists, ensuring that what we present remains disciplined by the foundations of Islamic law while engaging contemporary scholarship. No. Fetra Community is an independent civilisational project built by the effort of its volunteer members, and it is not a front for any party or organisational affiliation. The community does not accept donations; it is open to partnership and institutional sponsorship as set out in the support section below. We stand at the frontier of fitrah, and that alone determines where we stand.

Joining begins with the "Join the Community" button at the top of the site. You create your account in minutes, then choose the path that suits your situation: some programmes are open with a short online registration, such as Amsiyāt; some require an application and a brief assessment interview, such as Youth Accompaniment; and some run in cohorts, such as Pre-Marital Preparation. Your account is your file within the community: through it you follow your registrations in programmes and events, your progress in courses, and the status of any consultation requests you have made, and you receive notice of new cohorts and upcoming lectures. Through it you also read and download our publications. It is the same account you use for Fetra Academy, the Fetra App, and the AI Assistant, so you need no separate registration for each platform. If you have trouble signing in, or wish to delete your account and your data, the contact form on the site is the way.

Membership is free, and as a general rule our programmes are offered voluntarily. What we ask of members is not money but a commitment to attend and to finish what they began.

Our publications are read on the site and downloaded as PDFs, both after signing in, and creating an account is free. Not every title is available for download; some are read on the site only, and we say so on each title's card so that you are not looking for a button that is not there. For a print copy, complete a short request form on the site, and the team will write to you with the cost and the postage to your country before anything else. The community serves both, but in distinct spaces. The Consultation Centre includes women and men practitioners, each team serving its own constituency in its own space, and psychological support has a separate team for women and another for men. This distinction is not a formality for us: it follows from the very fitrah of created nature that we call people to.

Fetra Community is the widest roof, and beneath it is an ecosystem of four platforms. The clearest practical difference between the community and the academy is that **the community's programmes are accompaniment, gatherings, and shared milestones**, such as Amsiyāt, Youth Accompaniment, and the annual camp, whereas **the academy is courses and study tracks with enrolment, assessment, and a certificate of completion**.

The four platforms are: **Fetra Academy**, the teaching platform through which courses and study tracks are delivered with full enrolment and certificates of completion; the **Fetra AI Assistant**, which answers your questions on matters of fitrah, guides you to the right programme, and points you to a specialist when needed; the **Fetra App**, your window onto your own progress, your courses, and what is coming; and the **Consultation and Support Centre**, where individual sessions and group support circles are held with specialist practitioners, women and men. The first three are on subdomains of the main site, and the Centre is a set of pages within the site itself. All of them run on a single unified account.

Only to the extent the service requires. Your account details and registration forms are used to manage your enrolment in programmes and to be in touch with you about them. They are not sold and are not shared with outside parties. What is shared within the Consultation Centre has its own, more stringent regime, seen only by the practitioner directly responsible for the case. In Arabic and English, and the site itself is available in both. Where a particular course or cohort runs in a single language, this is stated on the programme's own page before registration. Expanding into further languages is a declared aim in our plan, and we announce each service in a language only when it is genuinely ready, not before.

Yes, and it is among the most important things we offer. Youth Accompaniment is a formative programme running two full years for young men and women aged 13 to 18, joining character formation and building self-confidence to skills activities, leadership programmes, and formative and spiritual journeys that consolidate what the participant has gained. Joining is by application followed by a brief assessment interview, because a programme of this length deserves that we come to know each participant before they begin.

We have two distinct paths: Pre-Marital Preparation, a practical preparatory programme for young women during the engagement period, addressing mistaken ideas before they take hold and laying the foundations for the skills of a shared life; and the Family and Marital Consultation section of the Consultation and Support Centre, a safe and neutral space for repairing the marital relationship, building a healthy language of dialogue, and aligning the parents' educational vision. For most marital crises arise not from an absence of love but from an absence of tools.

Dates are published first on the Events and Activities page, and announced to members through the community's official channels. The Amsiyāt programme runs in successive seasons throughout the year, so whoever misses one season catches the next. Yes. Fetra Academy issues a certificate of completion to anyone who finishes a course and passes its assessment, with a serial number and a verification code allowing any party to confirm that it is genuine. **We say this plainly: it is a certificate of completion issued by the community, documenting what its holder actually studied, not a certificate accredited by an outside academic body.** Obtaining academic accreditation for our educational training programmes is a declared aim in our plan by 2031, and we will announce it when it is achieved, not before.

It is the arm by which the community comes down from knowledge to the individual case. The Centre provides educational, psychological, and family support through specialists working according to the community's methodology, in four sections: psychological support for women, psychological support for men, educational consultation for parents and educators, and family and marital consultation. It works along two tracks: private accompaniment in closed individual sessions, and group support circles, the Circles of Safety in the two psychological sections and the Fitrah Circles in the educational section, which bring you together with others under the continuous supervision of our practitioners. Its areas of work extend from family relationships to the treatment of trauma, recovery from destructive patterns, and the management of anger and pressure. Consultation and Support Centre

Through the "Request a Consultation" page, in four steps: you complete a short form setting out the section, the session type, and the times that suit you; your request reaches the specialist practitioner; the practitioner confirms the time you proposed or offers an alternative; and the system then sends the session link to both of you along with the appointment in your local time, reminding you before it begins. On submitting, you receive a reference number with which to follow your request's status from your account without having to ask anyone. **Requests are not made through WhatsApp**: the community's WhatsApp is for general enquiries and partnerships alone. Yes, and this is a commitment, not a courtesy. Everything shared within the Centre, whether individually or within the group Circles of Safety and Fitrah Circles, is held in complete confidence, seen only by the practitioner directly responsible for the case. We know that many are kept from asking for help by the fear of stigma, and so this space was built free of judgement: asking for help is strength, not weakness.

No, and this limit is part of our methodology, not an exception to it. The Centre's team includes psychological specialists and physicians, and the physicians' role with us is precisely defined: to identify what falls within the scope of medical care, to determine which cases require medical treatment, and to advise on referral, without providing psychological or psychiatric treatment within the Centre, which is reserved to accredited medical bodies alone.

What we ourselves offer is accompaniment, consultation, and psychological and educational support, according to a methodology that joins the methods of contemporary psychology to the stillness of faith. The soul is a trust, and that trust requires honesty about what we do well and what we refer elsewhere.

**We therefore state clearly: the Centre is not an emergency service and does not operate around the clock.** If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services at once, and reach out to us afterwards for accompaniment and support.

Fetra Community is built by the effort of its volunteer members, and its doors are open to three kinds of giving: as a volunteer member in organising events, technical support, design, translation, or communications; as a lecturer and content contributor across the three domains of fitrah; or as a specialist practitioner in the Consultation and Support Centre. This path has its own professional form rather than the general contribution form. In it you give your section, your areas of specialisation, your qualification with its document, your years of experience, your languages, your availability, and a note on how you work. We then review the qualification and experience and verify the document, followed by an introductory conversation about the community's methodology and how you practise, and then approval. **Your details are not published on the practitioners page without your explicit consent in the form itself**; those who do not consent may still be approved, and their card is not published. We do not accept financial donations. Support with us has two clear avenues: partnership with scholarly, educational, media, and technical institutions, as set out in the next question; and sponsoring a number of beneficiaries or a particular programme, whereby the sponsor undertakes that a defined impact reaches the people it was meant for, and we show them exactly what was achieved.
